The IF Trips on Friday was won by Barry Ernshaw, Julia Strachen and Jo Boonzaaier. Runners-up were Jean and John Pluke and John Bayley. Many thanks to Investment Facilitators for their generous meat prizes, and congratulations to the winners.
On Saturday we player for chickens provided by Quarry Spar. Competition was keen, and winners by a single shot were Derick Hull, Colin Watson and Etzel Nuss. Second were Fred Palmer, Tony Francis and Mike Guest who were rewarded with giant grapefruit from John Fowler.
This coming week end we will be playing for the Harry Cooper Cup. Teams will be drawn on Saturday morning at 08:30. The bowls will be followed by a lunch donated by Quarry Spar.
Our next Jaxx Roll takes place on Wednesday 16th July, and we will play for the Club President's Cup on 19th.
