Prianna Maharaj, a Grade 6 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School participated in the South African Inter-regional Table Tennis Tournament from the 6 to 13 July 2014 in Mangaung (formerly Bloemfontein) representing Umgungunglovu District.
She came third in the country for Under 12 girls' singles division receiving a bronze medal. In the team Under 14 Girls event they were awarded a Silver medal for 2nd place.
