On Thursday we played a postponed Chicken Run. It was cold and overcast and the competition was shortened to 14 ends. Barry Best and Ingrid Oellermann won the chickens after a tie was settled by the greater number of ends won. Quarry Spar generously donated the prizes.League results from Saturday were as follows:

Third league vs Maritzburg: Won 7 -6
Ladies’ league vs Drak South: Won 10 -3

The ladies have now completed their league commitments for this year. Men’s teams have another two fixtures. Both of these teams will be away this Saturday.
