Nikhil Gopal, Head Boy of Grace College, played in the KZN Open on the 3rd to 5th of May at Beachwood Country Club in Durban. The Tournament is a Golf RSA National Open Amateur event.Nikhil played a solid and consistent game to secure the competitive edge over players from across South Africa, winning by two shots over the second placed competitor, Casey Jarvis from Ekhuruleni. Major Championship winners Gary Player, Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel, among other South African golf stars, have previously won this prestigious tournament.
