With more than15 years of retail experience, Caitlin Gilson has opened House of Heart Hilton at 2 Quarry Road. The previous outlet near Howick in the Midlands, closed abruptly, early in 2020, along with numerous other small businesses.
For Caitlin the revival of her business began slowly by developing online sales, she had success selling high end preloved clothing from home. This business grew gradually, yet consistently over the past 4 years. Always the entrepreneur, Caitlin patiently scanned the local landscape for the right site in Hilton.
When the opportunity to open in the heart of Hilton appeared, where she has lived for the past 25 years, Caitlin began her due diligence assessment and decided it was time to leap. Blessing Hilton residents and visiting shoppers with a gorgeous new shopping destination.
House of Heart Hilton is one of a few collaborative retail outlets remaining in the growing Midlands area. Committed to helping locals to promote their products, make them accessible to buyers, and to ensure that there are well-priced, ethically sourced and environmentally conscious items on the shelves, rails, and racks!
